Half the fun of living in an Orlando apartment is having fast access to some of the world’s greatest theme parks. Unfortunately, these parks can be expensive to visit – even for locals. This is, of course, unless you know how to save a little money on the prospect. The best way to do this is to select your favorite Orlando theme parks and get season passes.

Brace yourself because Orlando is home to a bunch of theme parks. You might want to limit yourself to one season pass or maybe two.

So, what are your options in Orlando theme parks?

Disney World – This is Orlando’s top theme park. Well, Disney World isn’t just one theme park. The Disney chain isn’t limited to just the park with Cindarella’s castle - the Magic Kingdom. Although this magical park is the one that put this central Florida city on the map, the company also has Epcot Center, Disney’s Hollywood Studios, Blizzard Beach water park and other destinations located in Orlando. All of Disney’s parks are famous for their rides, shows and incredible displays of Disney magic. Season passes and individual day passes are available on the Disney website or you can get them in person at the gate.

Universal Studios – At Universal studios, this is where the magic of the movies comes to life in Orlando. Here you can literally “ride the movies.” This park is a favorite for kids and adults alike as it offers incredible rides, shows and glimpses into how movies are made. Right next door is Universal’s Islands of Adventure with thrilling rides like the Incredible Hulk and Dueling Dragons coasters. Universal season passes are also available online and at the gate. And, being a Florida resident, you may qualify for discounts and specials

SeaWorld – The home of Shamu and hundreds of other underwater stars, Seaworld Adventure Parks
never fail to offer something new to see and do. It’s part of the Busch chain of parks. In nearby Tampa you’ll find Busch Gardens and Adventure Island water park. Getting a season pass for any of these parks is possible online.

Wet ‘n Wild – This water park is also owned by Universal Orlando Resort and provides a great way to cool off on a hot Orlando weekend. The park offers discounted rates to Florida residents and also has annual passes and day tickets that are considered very affordable as compared to other theme destinations. Passes can be purchased online or at the gate as well.
